Pendleton Woolen Mills is an American textile manufacturing company based in Portland, Oregon. For over 150 years, Pendleton has been family-owned and operated, weaving world-class wool products in its Pacific Northwest mills. Each blanket is meticulously crafted using old-world techniques, blending intricate Native American-inspired patterns with “Made in the USA” quality. Snow Peak has been working with Pendleton since the AW2018 season and these towel blankets are the result of our fifth collaboration.
This piece takes as its base Pendleton’s iconic Spider Rock pattern, into which has been incorporated our corporate logo, the Snow Peak asterisk. The towel is available is available in two softly muted colourways. It is ideal for use as a blanket or towel, or even as a tablecloth. Use it indoors or in the garden to bring a touch of camp style to your at-home spaces. About Spider Rock: Spider Rock is a stone spire standing in Canyon de Chelly National Park, in Chinle, Arizona. It said to be the hideaway of Spider Woman, a deity from Navajo legend, and as such is a sacred place to the Navajo. It is also the inspiration for Pendelton’s Spider Rock pattern. .
